I put an offer forward on one and Ed expertly handled the negotiation with the vendors such that my offer was accepted. In our case, we were on the buying side but we were lucky enough to meet and get to know Edward Whitaker at Vickery as he was representing the selling side. Edward was engaged from the very start of the process after we had put in our offer and, whilst jealously representing his clients' best interests (as he should), he also went out of his way to try to ensure that things were moving forward and that both side's legal counsel kept their eye on the ball. The process threw up some difficulties, but Edward worked tirelessly with both sides to facilitate open and clear communications and came up with great ideas to give the process every chance to proceed to an exchange.
