Vickery were the agents for a retirement property that we have just bought for my mother. From the first viewing of the flat, Matthew Bozier couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. Edward and his team were exceptional on our sale recently. A big thank you to George for his work with the viewings on the property and for chasing and providing feedback. There were elements of the sale that were challenging but Lewis who was responsible for the post 'agreed sale' process was just brilliant. He kept all parties constantly informed throughout the process and was extremely patient and diligent. I have no doubt that Vickery and Edward's team made the sale happen. My wife and I recently completed the sale of our property using the integrated solution offered by Vickery and Specialist Property Lawyers. There was a large team involved from the start, provided excellent advice on the pricing and sales strategy, organising and leading viewings, supporting us in the final negotiations on the purchase price, procuring the energy certificate, resolving search questions, etc., to ultimately selling the house and the team at Vickery were integral in shepherding the numerous other parties involved in the chain to ensure that we completed everything as quickly as possible. The Vickery team were all really helpful during our house buying process and were always responsive to our requests and questions. Ed and George showed me round several executive detached properties in Summer 2024. The houses all seemed good quality and they closely matched my requirements. I put an offer forward on one and Ed expertly handled the negotiation with the vendors such that my offer was accepted. What a great Estate Agents. Although it has taken about 7 months to exchange, we have finally made it! What was really nice, we had one point of contact the whole way through. I received a very positive experience whilst selling my property. I found all the staff in the Camberley branch to be professional and polite. I dealt mainly with Edward during the sale process of my property, Edward was always on hand to answer any questions I had. Whenever he said he was going to call - he did, which was very reassuring on a weekly basis. After the sale had been agreed I mainly dealt with Evie, who again was very professional and polite. When dealing with solicitors and any other interested parties such as management companies, Evie was able to provide clear and up to date updates as to where we were with the sale process and offered a human understanding side during what can be and was at times a stressful situation. In our case, we were on the buying side but we were lucky enough to meet and get to know Edward Whitaker at Vickery as he was representing the selling side. Edward was engaged from the very start of the process after we had put in our offer and, whilst jealously representing his clients' best interests (as he should), he also went out of his way to try to ensure that things were moving forward and that both side's legal counsel kept their eye on the ball. The process threw up some difficulties, but Edward worked tirelessly with both sides to facilitate open and clear communications and came up with great ideas to give the process every chance to proceed to an exchange.
