About Vickery

Innovation in Estate Agency is often intangible, you can’t necessarily see it. Despite this, when we launched our business more than 30 years ago our aim was, and still is to innovate, striving continually to find ways to improve and streamline the selling and letting process.

The two main keys to a smooth transaction are firstly sound initial marketing advice, and secondly, seamless communication between all parties including legal representatives. In this respect, we are unique as we are able to offer an in-house, ‘All in One’ sales, EPC and conveyancing package – all for a single fixed fee on a no sale no fee basis *conditions apply.

In our case, we were on the buying side but we were lucky enough to meet and get to know Edward Whitaker at Vickery as he was representing the selling side. Edward was engaged from the very start of the process after we had put in our offer and, whilst jealously representing his clients' best interests (as he should), he also went out of his way to try to ensure that things were moving forward and that both side's legal counsel kept their eye on the ball. The process threw up some difficulties, but Edward worked tirelessly with both sides to facilitate open and clear communications and came up with great ideas to give the process every chance to proceed to an exchange.
